School Fundraiser Night — Richmond Primary
150 guests, two sittings, and a sold-out evening that brought the local community together and raised meaningful funds for a Richmond primary school.
The Challenge
A Richmond primary school's PTA wanted to organise a community fundraising evening that would attract parents and local families, be accessible and enjoyable for all, and raise genuine funds for a new outdoor learning area.
Previous quiz nights and fairs had generated modest results. They wanted something that would draw a crowd and create a memorable shared experience.
Our Solution
We structured a dedicated fundraising evening across two sittings — 6pm and 8:30pm — with a set menu that included a children's option alongside the full adult selection. A percentage of every cover was ringfenced for the school.
The school's PTA promoted the event through their newsletter and WhatsApp groups. We provided digital assets and confirmed booking links. Both sittings sold out within 10 days of announcement.
What We Delivered
The Result
Both sittings were sold out. The evening generated a meaningful donation to the school's outdoor learning project, and the event was so well-received that the school has booked a follow-up for the following academic year.
