How many guests can Jaflong seat for group dining?+
Our dining room seats up to 24 guests comfortably. For groups of 9 or more, we ask you to call us on 020 8332 1339 to confirm availability and discuss your menu preferences.
Can we have a private dining room for our group?+
Yes — our newly renovated dining room can be reserved exclusively for private groups of 12–24 guests. This includes a dedicated server, customisable set menus, and optional decorations.
Do you offer set menus for large groups?+
Absolutely. We offer 3 group dining packages: The Social (bespoke quote, 3 courses), The Celebration (bespoke quote, 4 courses with premium dishes), and The Jaflong Experience (bespoke quote, 5 courses with chef's specials and welcome drinks).
Can you accommodate dietary requirements for groups?+
Yes. Our menu includes 15+ vegan dishes, extensive gluten-free options, and our entire menu is halal-supplier sourced Trusted halal. We can create bespoke menus for groups with mixed dietary needs.
Is there a deposit required for group bookings?+
For groups of 10+, we require a per-guest deposit to secure your reservation. This is fully deductible from your final bill. Cancellations with 48+ hours notice receive a full refund.
Do you cater for office parties and corporate groups?+
Yes — corporate group dining is one of our specialities. We offer invoice billing, branded menus, AV equipment for presentations, and dedicated account management for regular corporate clients.
Can we bring our own cake for birthday celebrations?+
Of course! We're happy for you to bring your own celebration cake at no corkage charge. We can store it in our kitchen and present it at the perfect moment with candles.
What's the best night to book for a group?+
Tuesday to Thursday evenings offer the most flexibility for large groups. Friday and Saturday evenings are our busiest — we recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance for weekend group dining.
Do you offer group discounts?+
Groups of 15+ dining midweek receive a complimentary starter platter. We also offer loyalty benefits for regular group bookings — ask about our Corporate Group Card.
How far in advance should we book for a group?+
We recommend 1–2 weeks for midweek groups and 2–4 weeks for weekend groups. For December and special occasions, book as early as possible — our private dining sells out quickly.
