A familiar local flavour at Ham Fair since 2011

For more than a decade, Ham Fair has been one of the highlights of our family's summer calendar. Jaflong Tandoori first joined the fair as an independent food stall in 2011, and we have been proud to return over the years — meeting residents, families, volunteers and fellow stallholders from across the area.

Jaflong Tandoori is an independent food stallholder at Ham Fair. The fair is organised by the Ham and Petersham Association, who handle programme, stall applications, volunteering and event management. We are not the organiser, sponsor or charity beneficiary of the event.

Our Ham Fair story

Ham Fair is more than another trading day for us. It is a chance to leave the restaurant kitchen, meet the community outdoors and be part of an event that brings together local schools, performers, charities, small businesses, craftspeople and families.

Over the years we have watched the fair develop while keeping the traditional village atmosphere that makes it special. We have met returning customers, made friends with neighbouring stallholders and served food to generations of local families. Many returning customers tell us that seeing familiar local stalls is part of what makes Ham Fair special — and we feel the same way about the people we see year after year.

We are proud to be a familiar local face at the fair and aim to offer a simple, affordable event menu, with selected meals priced at £10 or less where the operational plan for the day allows.

Affordable event food

We believe community events should remain accessible. Our fair-day menus are designed to be simple, quick to serve and reasonably priced. Where the final event menu allows, selected meals will be available for £10 or less. The exact line-up for each year is published on the relevant annual page once finalised.
