The brief

A Richmond-based charity wanted to host a community Iftar in a hired hall, with full halal compliance and a respectful, calm service flow as guests broke their fast.

How we delivered it

Our team arrived 45 minutes before sunset to set hot counters, plate cold elements, and confirm the service flow with the charity's volunteer coordinator. A vegetarian line was set first so guests breaking fast quickly had a clear, separate route.

Because portioning was agreed upfront and headcount was firm, total food waste came in below 3% of covers served.
