From Our Kitchen to Your Venue: Prepping a 100-Guest Event

Big-event catering doesn't start at the venue — it starts in our Richmond kitchen, early the same morning. Here's how a 100-guest event actually comes together, photographed in our own kitchen and at real events.

Everything cooked on the day

Curries, marinades and slow-cooked dishes are finished on the morning of your event — never the day before. Starters like samosas and pakoras are fried in batches so they arrive crisp, not steamed soft in transit.

Breads from the tandoor, as late as possible

Naan is at its best minutes after it leaves the tandoor. For serviced events we bake breads last, packing them so they reach the table still soft and warm — garlic naan is the first basket to empty, every time.

Packed, labelled and out the door on schedule

Dishes travel in insulated carriers, each labelled against the event's running order. On site they move straight into pre-heated chafing dishes or traditional copper handis for serving — the setup below is from a real event, not a showroom.

Feeding a crowd soon?

Whether it's 20 guests or 200, the routine is the same: cooked fresh, packed hot, served properly. See our catering service or book your date.
