Top 10 tips for Hollyfest 2026

Adapted from the official Hollyfield PTA visitor guide (originally published for Hollyfest 2025) and refreshed for the 2026 event. Please always check the PTA site before travelling in case arrangements change.

1. Check-in made easy. Have your booking name and order number ready at the entrance — no need to print your ticket or show the QR code from the email. Tickets are usually also available on the gate, so don't worry if you haven't bought in advance.
2. Be part of the magic — volunteer. Hollyfest runs on people power. If you can spare a slot before, during or after the event, sign up via the PTA volunteering page. It's a great way to meet other families.
3. Buy raffle tickets in advance. Skip the queues on the day and collect pre-ordered raffle tickets from the Info/Raffle stall. Prize line-up for 2026 will be published on the PTA site closer to the event.
4. Bring a picnic blanket or chair. Grab a spot on the field, get comfy, and enjoy all-day performances from Hollyfield students and community acts.
5. Come hungry. You'll find an international food stall line-up including our Jaflong Tandoori stand, plus BBQ, bar, and tea/coffee, cakes and sweets. Just bring your appetite — and your card or event tokens.
6. Cashless is king. Hollyfest is mostly cash-free. Stalls (except the bar) accept card or tokens; cash can be exchanged for tokens at the Info/Raffle stall. The bar is card only.
7. Fun for all ages. Alongside the main stage, expect non-stop entertainment with inflatables and a kids' zone. See the PTA "Know Before You Bounce" notes below for height limits.
8. Stay hydrated. Bring a reusable water bottle — free refill stations are planned across the site.
9. Think green. The PTA is reducing waste with reusable cups (small deposit at the bar) and eco-friendly beer barrels. Bring your cup back next time too.
10. Don't miss the fireworks. Stick around for the fireworks finale — fireworks at 9:45pm (per current organiser poster — please verify before travelling)

Every penny raised by Hollyfest goes back into The Hollyfield School — books, tech, music equipment and playground improvements. Thank you for supporting the PTA.

Inflatables — know before you bounce

Height and safety guidance carried over from the PTA's official 2025 visitor guide — please confirm on the day as inflatables may vary each year.

• Minimum height 1.2m — Rodeo Bull (must mount unassisted), 4-lane Bungee Run (waist strap must fit securely), Last Man Standing.
• Under 1.2m — Bouncy Castle is suitable for younger children.
• Minimum height 1.0m — Bootcamp Assault Course.
• All inflatable activities are used at your own risk. Safety is a priority but there is a small risk of injury with any physical activity.

Photography at Hollyfest

Hollyfield School typically takes photos at Hollyfest for promotion and publicity, including on the school's Instagram account and website. If you'd prefer that you or your child aren't photographed, ask for a "no photos" sticker at the entrance gate.
