Ratings tell you how a kitchen performed for other people's orders, not how it will handle yours. These six questions are quicker than reading fifty reviews, and you can ask them of any restaurant in Kingston, Surbiton, New Malden, Hampton Wick or Teddington before you commit a table or an event to them.

The clearest difference between ordering direct and ordering through a delivery platform is money. Platforms charge the restaurant a commission and the customer a service and delivery fee, and menu prices are often raised to absorb part of that. Ordering direct with us removes that layer entirely.

On a typical £45 family order to Kingston, ordering direct saves the £5 over-£40 discount plus the platform's fees, and collecting from Ham instead saves 10% on the whole order. Dining in adds two more savings that town-centre restaurants rarely match: no service charge on the bill and no corkage on the wine you bring.

Most Kingston Indian restaurants can seat a couple at short notice. Far fewer can seat twenty together, and fewer still can also deliver a hot buffet to a hall, office or home on the same week. If you organise gatherings, that combination matters more than any star rating.

Mixed groups are where many kitchens fall down. A table that includes someone eating only halal meat, someone vegan and someone coeliac often ends up split across two orders. We keep all three on one menu.

We use halal chicken and lamb from trusted halal-certified suppliers and serve no pork; the restaurant itself does not hold a restaurant-level halal certificate. There are 15+ vegan dishes and 30+ gluten-free dishes, and we use Laila gluten-free basmati rice. We cook without nuts in our curries, though we cannot guarantee against traces from suppliers' factories.
